Paul Bennett Appointed Chair of Prestigious Law Society Committee

Bennett Briegal LLP Partner Paul Bennett has been appointed as Chair of the Regulatory Processes Committee (RPC) of the Law Society of England and Wales. The Committee which helps shape the Law Society policy on regulatory issues and provides input into the regulatory agenda by engaging with regulators is a key strand of the Law Society’s work in the public interest and in the interest of the profession.

Paul commented: “I have sat on the Committee for a couple of years now and know how vital its work it. it has the ear of the regulators because of our outstanding knowledge and insight. To have been appointed a Chair of a talented Committee is a huge honour. I will focus on the public interest and the professions needs and will be ably assisted by an immensely experienced team of specialist solicitor volunteers and Law Society staff.”

Paul took up the post on the 1st September 2020 on a 3-year term.
