COVID-19: Our role in supporting the legal profession

Mar 25, 2020

We were delighted to be invited to host the first of a series of podcasts aimed at supporting the legal profession on behalf of the Law Society of England & Wales.  The situation is clearly fastmoving and evolving and we have been somewhat slow to share resources on our own website over the last week or two whilst we focussed on advising clients and supporting our fabulous profession at these uncertain times.

Partner Paul Bennett however was the chosen voice for the first podcast focussing on business continuity planning and a link to the Podcast is here.

 Paul commented as follows:

“I was delighted to be asked to support the profession over the last 10 – 14 days with both the planning and delivery of a Podcast at a few hours’ notice I order to try and give some reactive advice to law firms struggling from a business continuity perspective, but also to contribute as a member of the profession with the development of the Law Society’s response to the challenge ahead.  These are unprecedented and confusing times we will of course continue to support each and every client that instructs us to the best of our ability and we will continue to contribute pro bono to the Law Society to protect our great profession.”

If you have any question or queries, or if you need advice on contracts, your partnership issues or practical adaption to these evolving times, please do not hesitate to get in contact with us.
