£20m Law Firm Merger

Bennett Briegal LLP is delighted to have advised the partners of Atherton Godfrey LLP on their merger with Switalskis Solicitors, in a move that creates a £20m turnover law firm.

Mark Briegal lead the transaction with support from Paul Bennett. Bennett Briegal was introduced to Atherton Godfrey by our accountants and regular collaborators Armstrong Watson LLP.

Doncaster based Atherton Godfrey specialises in commercial, property, personal injury, medical negligence, wills and probate, family and employment law.

Yorkshire-based law firm Switalskis employs over 250 staff across 11 offices, handling a range of specialist legal services including medical negligence, brain and serious injury, child care, wills and probate, residential and commercial property, family law, and inquests.

The combined Switalskis Group will employ 380 staff across 12 offices in West, North, and South Yorkshire.
